1st birthday for Lally Lou Lou.

Good day to you my lovely and remarkable bloggy friends. Today sees the anniversary of the day that I began my humble blog, wow what a journey and crikey what an amazing year it has been. You may notice that from starting the blog I didn’t do much after October until January. I didn’t really have much clue what I was doing and I am only just getting there now. The simple fact is that I wouldn’t be at this stage without you, weather you comment every week or just take a look. All of your effort has meaning to me and I am grateful, inspired by you and happier than I have been in ages.
So, what now? Well I could do a giveaway but that would mean only one winner and I have so many thank you’s to make. With that and Christmas in mind (I can mention it I am allowed, you all said so) I have created a few thingies that may be useful around the season.

They are covers for the yummy chocolates, ferrero rocher.

Please tell me that you get them in US/NZ/AUS. If not then you will doubtless come up with alternatives you clever lot.(just seen them on Neighbours!!)
What I propose is that I will feature a pattern a week on a Wednesday for the next few weeks.

This week I am starting with a Christmas pudding. Now I am reminded of a post I read last week by corn poppy girl about creativity and how we should and do, add aspects of our own personality to projects and that's how they all turn out so different. Alice also mentioned this this week with her own unique take. With this in mind I would love to see what you do with this project and so have prepared a place for sharing pictures of things which you will find here http://www.flickr.com/groups/crochet-ferrero/
I realise that you are so busy but it would tickle me pink to see what happens. I will also put the projects on Ravelry so people can join in.
Remember, there is no need to follow my instructions to the letter. Use them to make your own thing. For example the Pud will become a cupcake or a bauble.
