Well guess what I did yesterday? Mmm apple chutney. My neighbour gave me bagfuls of the most juicy cooking apples which I transformed into chutney. Looks glam huh? The reality is this….

ReplyDeleteWow you have been productive! I have never thought about making my own chutney and it's almost impossible to find on this side of the pond. I too used to love a good cheese and chutney sandwich, so I think I'll have to give it a go!

For years my Mother made apple and marrow chutney with my Grandmother. Every lunchtime I would come home from school to see them both stirrring and chopping away. The chutney was delicious. But the smell on your clothes when you went back to school was something else. The spices used! This looks delicious.
